Walnut side table with cherry butterflies. The hairpin legs are from Lee Valley. Finish is Osmo Polyx-Oil. The wood is from a tree that was cut down in my grandparents backyard. From my count of the growth rings, the tree was 70+ years old.
Inspired by Mike Pekovich, this wall cabinet features dovetail and through tenon construction. The top door has a simple kumiko grid with a paper backing, and the bottom drawer has a walnut veneer front.
This letter box features dovetail construction. The top is book-matched spalted cherry, and the lid has a walnut tab for easy opening.
This box features dovetail joinery with a contrasting cherry liner. The bottom of the box has a blue fabric liner to add some color to the piece, and the top is a book-matched raised panel.
